We also offer Mohs micrographic surgery in our Mohs Surgery Suite (pictured here) . It is an advanced surgical technique for the treatment of skin cancer.  It is performed by a highly trained specialist who serves as the surgeon, pathologist and the reconstructive surgeon.  It relies on the microscope to trace and map the skin cancer to ensure complete removal while preserving or saving healthy, normal tissue.  Mohs micrographic surgery offers the highest cure rate, the lowest chance of re-growths, and minimizes the potential for scarring or disfigurement by offering the most exact and precise means of cancer removal. 

Fellowship trained Mohs surgeons are physicians who have extensive knowledge of the skin and its healing properties, as well as training in reconstructive surgery.  The surgery is performed on an outpatient basis, under local anesthesia.
